Beef dry fry is a popular appetizer or a side dish goes well with rice and chappathi. It is yummy and very easy to make. Do give it a try

Ingredients:
Beef - 500 gram
cornflour - 2 tablespoon
Rice flour -1 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Soya sauce - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri chilly powder - 2 tablespoon
Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Fennel powder - 3/4 teapoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Water for mixing batter
Coconut oil for deep frying
Curry leaves - 1 spring for garnishing
Directions to make:
1. First of all, cut the cleaned beef into thin slices (to fry fast). I prefer deep frying method other than cooking beef in a pressure cooker.
2. In bowl, take cornflour, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, fennel seed powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt with the sliced beef and mix well. Allow it to sit in fridge for at least 4-5 hour or an overnight
3. Then transfer the marinated beef into the sizzling hot oil and deep fry it in medium - low flame till it done and the beef is dark brown in color.
4. One minute before removing the beef from the oil, add curry leaves and slitted green chillies and fry.
5. Remove the fried items from the oil and transfer it to a paper towel to remove the excess oil
6. Serve hot
